Description: The open stage begins with a half-hour set by an invited featured performer, often drawn from players who frequent the open stage. Cover songs are acceptable, although it's primarily a songwriter's open stage. The open stage is a good place for experienced artists to try out new songs on a live audience, and a nurturing place for beginners to start. Performers generally perform three or four songs.
